Keeley Hawes to lead "Ashes to Ashes"

According to Holy Moly, Keeley Hawes is to take the lead role in 'Ashes To Ashes,' the sequel to 'Life On Mars'.

Holy Moly! Exclusive: Former 'Spooks' star Keeley Hawes is to star in 'Ashes To Ashes' , replacing John Simm as the lead character in the follow-up to 'Life On Mars'.

The 30-year-old wife of fellow 'Spooks' actor Matthew Macfadyen, and daughter of a London cabbie, will play a modern day woman police officer who wakes to find herself in the early eighties, working with 'Life On Mars' legendarily sexist DCI Gene Hunt, again to be played be Philip Glenister.
