Keeley talks about Marriage, Motherhood and Cosmetic Surgery (Daily Express Aug 2011)

Keeley spoke to Jane Oddy of the Daily Express and had this to say about Botox:

“I’m not against it by any means but with what I do for a living it can be more distracting,” she says.

“Audiences could be looking at the work you’ve had done on your face rather than your performance. There is pressure to look young but it’s definitely not for me at the moment.”

About her children:

When a role involves round-the-clock filming Keeley relies on Matthew to keep the household running smoothly.

“There is always one of us around for the children. Matthew will do a job and then I will. We always make sure we don’t clash,” she says.

“I feel fortunate that I don’t have a nine-to-five job. This means I can have a month at a time with the children sometimes so I don’t feel I’m losing out.

“When I do work, the hours are long and hard and occasionally I have to be away but when I have a resting period I’m with them all the time.” Keeley says she has no immediate plans to have another baby.

About marriage to actor Matthew Macfadyen:

The pair are close and committed. “We’ve been on holiday for the past four weeks and spent every day together. This is the first morning we have been apart and I feel lost without him,” she smiles.
