Keeley appeared in series 1 of Ashes to Ashes, the sequel to Life on Mars on BBC. She won the Glamour Awards Best UK Television Actress for this role. Later this year she appeared in Mutual Friends. Series 2 of Ashes to Ashes is expected to air in the spring of 2009.

Keeley recently was featured in two movies in 2008. Firstly The Bank Job with Jason Stratham, followed by Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig.

Synopsis: Ace (John Simm) and Paul (Chiwetel Ejiofor) are two young prisoners who've been friends since childhood. When they fall in love with the same woman, Emily (Keeley Hawes), a teacher at the prison, their friendship is torn apart and they become bitter enemies. When Ace has served his sentence, both become consumed with bitter jealousy - each thinking that the other will be closer to Emily.
