Keeley Talks about her first Theatre Role (Telegraph March 2011)

The Telegraph has posted an interview with Keeley Hawes, in which she talks about past roles in Spooks and Ashes to Ashes, as well as her continuing role as Lady Agnes in Upstairs Downstairs.  She also discusses her first theatrical debut as Belle, "the adoring wife of a struggling New York dentist. She cannot have children, and to compound her isolation she is estranged from her widowed father, who mischievously urges her husband to live a little by seducing the dental practice’s pretty young secretary", in the upcoming Rocket to the Moon soon to be playing at the National Theatre.

Be sure to take a look at Keeley's career in photos at the Telegraph, too!

Upstairs Downstairs recommissioned for series two

The BBC press office confirmed that Upstairs Downstairs will receive a second extended series, consisting of 6 hour long episodes in the first half of 2012.  The six episodes will return next year and chart a period of social change in Britain in which class structures and relationships between master and servant are tested to their limits.  Expect a shocking twist to occur.
