Keeley appeared in series 1 of Ashes to Ashes, the sequel to Life on Mars on BBC. She won the Glamour Awards Best UK Television Actress for this role. Later this year she appeared in Mutual Friends. Series 2 of Ashes to Ashes is expected to air in the spring of 2009.

Keeley recently was featured in two movies in 2008. Firstly The Bank Job with Jason Stratham, followed by Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig.

A well-known though not necessarily widely read masterpiece, "The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman" is a bawdy romp that plays with the techniques and conventions of the novel; its autobiographical speaker is prone to narrative excursions, direct addresses to the reader, and other eccentricities that make his tale anything but linear.
